Jeep Rolls Through Flooded Detroit Like a Boss
Recently, much of Michigan, including Detroit, fell victim to a series of massive rain storms that flooded much of the state and the city. Thousands of homes were destroyed, countless cars were swallowed up, and many other terrible things happened to the already struggling city.
However, a little water never hurt a Jeep, right? Below we have a photo from a video taken by Instagram user @jordan_haag at the University of Michigan in Detroit. The video shows off what appears to be an Acura completely overcome by the flood waters, unable to move, and most likely destroyed. Then a wake begins to form and a Jeep Wrangler comes into view, fording the head waters. It’s pretty hilarious, but it gets even better when you see that the Jeep is actually towing a guy riding a pool floaty down the flooded street.
But here’s what I want you all to do. I want you all to caption this photo the best you can, and maybe at the end we’ll pick some of our favorite ones. So get to thinking!
Here’s mine, “I don’t always ford rivers through Detroit, but when I do, I use a Jeep and a pool floaty.”
