Jeep Takes Out Telephone Pole, Creates Viral Sensation

There’s no doubt a good explanation for this incident. It’s just that we don’t think any of the comments we’ve seen about the photo provide a good account of exactly what happened here.

One thing’s for certain, however: the photo above, of the Jeep that apparently rolled in South Africa and took out a telephone pole, has racked up more than 4 million views on Imgur, an image sharing site. According to Inquisitr, where we first stumbled upon the story, the pic pulled in more than 3.6 million views in the first 17 hours after it was posted.

Why you ask? Well, it could be a number of things, like perhaps a slow day on Reddit, or the fact that a lot of people have just grown tired of staring at all those Instagram posts showing people’s dinner. But it also could be the fact that the pole looks like a cross suspended in thin air over the rolled Jeep. Perhaps that last explanation helps explain how the driver apparently was able to walk away from this one unscathed.

Whether you think it’s some miraculous sign from above or a case of happenstance, you have to admit it is very bizarre.
