Jeep Instagrammer Has Gnarliest Jeep Scrambler Concept Yet
While glossing over boring Jeep mods on IG, we ran across TSJeeps and couldn’t help but gawk at their cool and outrageous rock crawlers.
It seems like everyone has a sticker on their back window advertising their own Instagram account these days. We don’t care about little Johnny and his beat up Civic with the exhaust hanging off though. We care about Jeeps, and TSJeeps on Instagram has been doing a great job highlighting awesome custom builds on Instagram. According to the company’s website, they started their Instagram page in early March, 2017, with the goal of inspiring build ideas to the entire Jeep community. As of this writing, they have over 112,000 followers. At that point, we’re not going to begrudge them a sticker advertising their Instagram account.
There’s certainly a lot of cool Jeeps here to draw inspiration from, but we’re particularly drawn to this capable looking off-roader with some serious Scrambler flavor.
It’s actually a conversion by a company called Starwood Motors and called The Bandit. It’s based on the Jeep Wrangler so it’s a 4WD, five-passenger, four-door pickup with an overall length of 215.0 inches and the truck bed is 61 inches long. To make that work, Starwood also reinforce the frame and install custom drive shafts, brake lines, and wiring harnesses to make sure it’s as strong and reliable as the Wrangler it’s based on.
One of the craziest looking, and definitely the angriest looking, Jeep that crops up a lot on TSJeeps feed is this one, owned by Instagrammer theBrodie941:
Something tells us this Jeep Wrangler hasn’t seen much more off-road terrain than this, and we’re not usually fans of something that looks like it’s been driven through an accessory store, but the front end is compelling. The headlights are Chroma HIDprojectors and, as far as we can tell, that’s an “Angry Bird” from Ebay. If neither of these are to your taste though, there’s quite the variety on JSJeeps Instagram account to check out.
