Jeep Gladiator Half Doors Dual Door Group

Jeep Gladiator half doors enhance the open-air experience and are now available as part of the new Dual-Door Group option.

Since the Jeep Gladiator is essentially a Jeep Wrangler with a bed, it’s no surprise that most of the same upgrades and aftermarket parts available for the SUV are also available for the pickup. However, that wasn’t the case with Jeep’s half doors, which are a great way to enhance the open-air experience without having to take the doors off completely. Thankfully, Mopar has finally corrected this oversight and is now offering Jeep Gladiator half doors as part of the model’s new optional Dual-Door Group.

The Jeep Gladiator half doors are available alongside the regular full doors as part of the group, but offer improved visibility while maneuvering on- and off-road thanks to the revised lower window ledges. The half doors are constructed from aluminum, come painted body color, and can be stored neatly within the vehicle.

Like the regular, full-size doors, the Gladiator’s half doors still function perfectly with the vehicle’s power mirrors, blind-spot detection, passive and non-passive entry handles, and power locks. Making the switch from full doors to half doors is rather easy as well, and takes just a few minutes using the existing hinge locations and the exact same wiring connections.

The doors also come with new upper-window assemblies, which create a weather-tight seal and feature zippered plastic windows for quick and easy removal. Two materials are offered for the assemblies: base-model vinyl that matches the production soft-top roof or premium acrylic that matches the premium soft-top roof. Each upper-door frame section uses a tool-free, dual-guide post feature for easy installation and removal.

While the half-door assembly will obviously lead to more wind noise inside the cabin, it’s a fantastic option for those that want more of an open-air experience with a bit more metal around them. And since it’s incredibly easy to swap the doors out, you can do so whenever you want a quieter driving experience.

The Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) from Mopar Gladiator Dual-Door Group with the base-model upper-window assemblies retails for $4,590, while the more premium upper-window assemblies carry an MSRP of $4,990, and both are included as part of the Gladiator’s new vehicle warranty of three years or 36,000 miles.
