Jeep Crash Into Apartment Building Still a Mystery

Imagine waking up to a really loud noise and finding this in your living room.

A toy-scaled model Jeep sitting on the mantel? Sure. But a full-sized JK parked next to your couch? Wrangler fan or not, my guess is that most would find this pretty alarming, followed by a lot of frustration while this fiasco gets sorted out.

The story of how the Wrangler wound up in this predicament is still a little sketchy, as highlighted in WUSA 9 report.

What is clear, however, is that the Jeep displaced some 20 people who were living in the building in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Fortunately, nobody was seriously injured, which is pretty amazing considering the circumstances.

The question I’m sure most are wondering, however, is how did the driver end up losing control of the Jeep and crashing into the apartment building? Apparently, police are still sorting through those details.
