Grand Cherokee Trackhawk 0–60 MPH Time Revealed, and It’s Really Fast
Jeep fans, we now officially know that the Hellcat powered Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is not just real, but also real fast.
Set to bear the official name Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, the Jeep’s new beast is expected to clock the 0 –60 mph time in a fire-breathing 3.5 seconds, according to a Car and Driver report. That’s over a second faster than the current Grand Cherokee SRT, and half second faster than the BMW X5 M, which Car and Driver found to be the quickest vehicle in their last hardcore SUV comparison test.
News of the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk’s blazing speed was shared with Fiat-Chrysler dealers at the company’s annual dealership meeting held this week in Las Vegas. There’s still no word on exactly when the 707-horsepower supercharged Jeep will go on sale. But if you’ve been waiting for a real sign that it’s in the works, then the announcement of this 0- 60 mph time should give you a vote of confidence.
