Packed with 20 items from the Jeep accessories catalog, Gladiator Top Dog Concept rocks custom flatbed storage unit behind the cab.

It’s only been a year since the Gladiator brought trucks back to the Jeep brand. Since then, the big rig’s found plenty of fans, especially in the aftermarket. From overlanding to the drag strip, whatever the owner had in mind, the market could provide.

Of course, there’s something to be said about getting accessories and upgrades from the factory, too. Jeep Performance Parts and Mopar recently teamed up to build a new take on the Gladiator. Dubbed the Gladiator Top Dog Concept, it’s the ultimate rig for hardcore mountain bikers.

“Loaded with nearly 20 Jeep Performance Parts, we built this go-anywhere Jeep Gladiator Top Dog Concept for passionate mountain bike enthusiasts,” said Mopar parts and service head Mark Bosanac. “Across the entire Jeep lineup, we offer more than 500 quality-tested, factory-backed parts and accessories.”

The centerpiece of the Gladiator Top Dog Concept is the custom PCOR flatbed storage unit behind the cab. Replacing the stock bed, the unit houses an enclosure filled with everything mountain bikers need on the trail.

And what’s inside? On the passenger side of the Gladiator, storage for tools and supplies, plus lighting and extra power for whatever riders need. On the driver’s side? A fridge for the Gatorade, and a hot dog griller for convenience-store flavor without the convenience-store prices and sanitation concerns.

Up top, the Gladiator Top Dog Concept offers room for two mountain bikes to ride along between excursions. Another rack over the cab itself means more places to transport all the needed gear.

Of course, the Gladiator Top Dog itself is ready to climb those mountains, too. 17-inch wheels with beadlocks reside within 37-inch all-terrains, each supported by FOX shocks and a two-inch lift. JPP bumpers, rock rails and door sill guards protect the Jeep, while a pair of Warn winches are ready to pull anyone or anything out of trouble.

“Built to handle the demands of an active lifestyle and offering one-of-a-kind open-air freedom, Jeep Gladiator is the perfect canvas for Mopar to push the envelope even further with the addition of an array of Jeep Performance Parts,” said Jeep boss Jim Morrison. “Mopar’s new Top Dog Concept results in even more clever functionality and versatility for Jeep Gladiator.”
