Gladiator Goes On Picturesque Off-road Journey in Canadian Mountains

Bone-stock Jeep Gladiator handles this rough and rugged mountain adventure trail of rocks, mud and river crossings with ease.

The Jeep Gladiator keeps getting more and more exciting. Though they have been host to many modifications since their release, many people are having all the fun they could want in stock ones. They do all the things you’d think a Jeep should, and have a lot more cargo space to boot! The places to go and things to see in a Gladiator are nearly endless, and even rough terrain will struggle to stop you.

Youtuber The Story Till Now recently posted this video proving our theory. Shaun, the owner of the Gladiator, crafted this awesomely soothing video of himself and a friend exploring an off-road trail. It starts with the group unlocking the gate to a path at Eagle Mountain Park in British Columbia. Though the Gladiator is stock, the Jeep accompanying him has some off-road modifications.

Gladiator Off Road

Impressively, the Gladiator clears many of the obstacles on the trail with ease. The stock ground clearance is capable of a lot more than one might think, as is demonstrated throughout the footage. Sure, you can hear a few scrapes and bumps along the way as it dips into ditches and over larger rocks, but no significant hold-ups!

It goes without saying that it’s not bulletproof. There are certainly some terrains you shouldn’t take a stock Gladiator over, but common sense will save most people in those scenarios.

“We’re not going that way, we’ll take the bypass,” said Shaun, after watching the other Jeep expertly crawl over a collection of massive boulders.

Despite its limitations and the weather not quite cooperating, the bone stock Gladiator makes it to the top of the trail. Throughout the rain, rocks, streams, and mud, the beloved Jeep pickup makes it all the way.

“It’s quite foggy and raining, but..epic view,” said Shaun standing atop the mountain with the fog-covered forest gracing the background of the shot.

While the Gladiator is no off the shelf rock crawling and hill-climbing beast, it is undoubtedly a lot more capable off the beaten path than many give it credit for. It is an excellent rig!
