Fatal Jeep Accident Reminds Us That Safety Should Always Come First
We can’t stress this point enough – safety should always come first when experiencing some of the cool features of a Jeep.
Now, I know it might seem like I’m stating the obvious. But apparently there are still some people that get the urge to do some really dangerous things when driving or riding in a Wrangler.
Take, for example, a 21-year-old in Kentucky who was run over and killed after he tried to climb out of a Wrangler when the vehicle was still moving. According to the local Hopkins County NBC News affiliate WPSD, the man, John Hayden, was caught underneath the Jeep after he slipped and fell off the side of the vehicle as the driver was slowing down.
This certainly isn’t the kind of Jeep news we like to revel in here at JK Forum. But it is a somber reminder that there can be a really fine line between enjoying a Jeep and putting yourself or others in danger.
