Dogs and Jeeps, Like America and Apple Pie
Sometimes, two great things just go great together. It’s like the universe was created with such a pairing in mind.
Perhaps there’s no better example of this then the thread, titled “Show Your Jeeps and your Dogs!” It combines two of the greatest gifts ever bestowed unto man: dogs and Jeeps. It’s the most classic of combos, perhaps more perfectly paired than peanut butter and jelly, America and apple pie, and even LeBron James and whining.
The thread was kicked off by rkm12593 back in January of 2011, with a few pics (including the one above) of his boxador (boxer/lab mix), Duke. Can’t you just see the look of possibility in Duke’s eye? It’s like he’s thinking to himself, “If you can have that much fun parking a Jeep on a snowbank, just imagine what kind of mud we can get into!”
There’s so many similarly great photos in this thread, that you can easily see why it has remained a fan favorite. It’s not like dogs and jeeps ever get old. In fact, the more Jeep trips you take your dog on, the more great pics you get, the more you post, the better (and longer) the thread becomes. It’s a perfect circle.
