The Biggest Collection of Blacked-Out Jeeps Ever
What’s one of the best things about JK-Forum? How about an entire 350-page JK thread completely dedicated to blacked-out beauties? A blacked-out Jeep is a thing of beauty, and when done properly, it looks simply stunning. Below, I’ve taken some of the more recent submissions and picked a few I really liked. Any Jeep is eligible, the only requirement is that it is of the blacked-out variety. There’s a common theme that you will notice here, though, and that is that the Wrangler seems to be a very popular choice. Its squared-off, rugged looks adapt to lift kits, winches, big bumpers, rear mounted spare wheels, and beefy tires perfectly. Oh, and black paint and tinted windows too.
Since this isn’t a contest, I thought I’d search for the ones that struck my eye as extremely well done, extensively modified, being used properly offroad, or even examples that are simply photographed like a pro. There’s no rhyme or reason to it, really, so don’t get upset if you see a certain modification that you think is played-out too much. Instead take a look at that thread, and you’ll find literally hundreds of other examples. The gallery below is merely a taste of the yummy goods.
