BattleDrift 2 Features a High-Flying Jeep Something
JK-Forum’s beloved nameplate joins a Lambo and Nissan GT-R in a showdown of wills, skills, and a lot of smokin’ tires.
What do a heavily-modified Jeep, a Lamborghini Murcielago and a Nissan GT-R all have in common? Under normal circumstances, nothing.
But when you mix ‘em all together for an all-out drift war, it has the makings for something special as we learned after coming across a report from AutoEvolution.
The three-way drifting duel is the latest in the BattleDrift series, an action-packed competition of smoking tires and insane turns that kicked off with Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Daigo Saito battling it out in the woods for a competition of American muscle vs the super exotic.
Saito and his Lambo return as the defending champions in this year’s drift war. American drifting champion Vaughn and his Mustang have been replaced by Steve Biagioni driving a Nissan GT-R and Casey Currie wheeling a beefed-up vehicle bearing our favorite nameplate here at JK Forum. However, we’re not exactly sure how much of is actually a Jeep aside from the badge and if the Jeep is intended to be more of a decoy.
This year’s Monster sponsored battle drift takes place in Sheerness England. Rumor has it, there are a few skeptics as to whether or not the second Battle Drift lives up to the inaugural race. Of course, for those of us here at JK Forum, it’s really no comparison, considering that this one has features a high-flying Jeep joining in all the fun.
Go ahead, take a for yourself and let us know what you think.
