SEMA Special: How ‘Bout a 6X6 Hellcat Wrangler?
One of the most fascinating things about SEMA is that it always drives someone to think up a vehicle that stretches the imagination.
Take for example, this 707-horsepower JK Wrangler, inspired by the notorious Dodge Hellcat engine, which was recently highlighted in a FourWheeler report.
Dubbed the “Hellhog,” the Jeep project owes its origin to the team at Wild Boar Off-Road, with some help from Dakota Customs, which specializes in V8-Hemi engine swaps.
Aside from its 707-horsepower V8, a lot of the details on the Hellhog are being kept under wraps until SEMA, which kicks off November 3. But we do know that the Jeep’s frame was stretched to accommodate the third axle to convert the Jeep JK Wrangler from a 4×4 into a 6×6.
Needless to say, we’ll be snapping a lot of photos at Wild Boar Off-Road’s booth in Las Vegas next week.
