Huge Turnout: 30,000-plus Jeep SUVs Participated in Jeep Beach

At the end of April, Jeep led a parade of charity-giving Jeep owners to Daytona Beach. More than 30,000 SUVs arrived.

Jeep Beach, a Jeep brand sanctioned event that both gives enthusiasts the change to mingle and swap build stories, it also generates money for a variety of charities. This year marked the 20th event held on Daytona Beach, and more than 230,000 people and 30,000 Jeeps made an appearance. Leading the way were some of the concepts that wowed crowds at the Easter Jeep Safari this year, like the 1974 Cherokee 4xe concept or the all-electric Magneto 3.0.

Since 2012, Jeep has generated more than $2 million for local charities during the weeklong event, and Jim Morrison, the head of Jeep’s North American branch, was more than pleased with how the annual event turned out. For the entire week, Morrison interacted with fans from all over to learn more about what current and potential Jeep owners expected from the brand.

“The Jeep community is as strong as I’ve ever seen it,” said Morrison. “Our fans have always demonstrated an unparalleled love for the brand and are incredibly passionate about their Jeep vehicles. We saw well over 230,000 Jeep brand enthusiasts throughout the week, and with over 30,000 Jeep 4×4 SUVs on site, I don’t think I saw any two the same.”

More than Just a Gathering

While owners mixing with other owners is exciting in itself, Jeep had clever ways to market products and keep people engaged. First, an obstacle course driven by a professional, that anyone could be passenger to. This not only shows people the capability of the brand, but allows people a different perspective on off-roading. There were also new cars for people to test drive, like the 2023 Compass Trailhawk, Grand Cherokee 4xe Summit Reserve, the all-new Gladiator, and the 20th Anniversary Edition of the Wrangler.

Held on 6.5 acres of Daytona International Speedway’s infield, there was plenty of room for other variants to be displayed. Like the first responder version of the Gladiator, a Wrangler Pace Jeep, and a Willys Jeep Beach Edition.
