Rock crawling, jagged terrain, steep inclines, and racing speeds: New spot by Jeep shows that there is little that the new Gladiator can’t do.

Jeeps are a cool ride no matter where you’re headed. But when it comes to off-roading, there is no substitute. In a new spot by Jeep, we get to see the 2020 Jeep Gladiator in action. And it is a sight to behold.

The new Gladiator is featured here in the Rubicon 4dr 4×4 Crew Cab trim. It offers exactly what we want in an off-road ride: durability, ruggedness, power.

First off, it just looks great. We know that some auto journalists have been less than thrilled with the Gladiator’s styling. Frankly, we simply don’t get it. We cannot deny the appeal of its sleek, brutish aesthetic, it is a natural 4-door with pickup extension of the Wrangler.

Performance-wise, it was born to tear it up. We the 4×4 hit high speeds, thanks to the 3.6-liter 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine, producing 285 hp and 360 lb.-ft of torque. And it must be noted that this really shows the superior suspension, demonstrated by the number of bumps and rocky terrain the driver just seems to glide over without a hint of turbulence.

Naturally, if it is a Jeep, you have to show some outstanding rock crawling. The Gladiator tackles it without breaking a sweat. This is exactly the traction you want for all the thrills without the panic attacks.

We also get some shots of the interior. Personally, we love that sharp red dash. The on-board technology is well designed, and the spot shows how easy it is to access the off-road capability features. Click a button for Off-Road Plus, which adjusts throttle, transmission shift points, and traction. You can also engage or disengage the sway bar.

The title card says it is the most off-road capable midsize pickup ever, and it is “Ready for Battle.”

So if you’re like us, and you like your Jeep to provide heart-pounding fun off-road, then yes; the Gladiator proves it is the all-terrain monster of your dreams. It is one thing to read about its specs on paper, but when it gets down to the real deal, seeing is believing.
