2019 Jeep Wrangler Named Among ’10 Best Cars for Dog Lovers’
Autotrader unveils best cars for dog lovers & limited-edition dog goggles for traveling pets.
When it comes to making canine companions bark in approval, the 2019 Jeep Wrangler stands out as among the best, according to a new report. The iconic vehicle was recently revealed by Autotrader as among the “10 Best Cars for Dog Lovers.”
The “10 Best Cars for Dog Lovers” list, announced for the sixth consecutive year by Autotrader, helps mark National Dog Day, celebrated on August 26. Editors at Autotrader curated the list of the best rides to help shoppers find the perfect new car for traveling with their four-legged friends. Cars on the list include extensive features geared at keeping both human and canine passengers secure.
“We came up with a list of cars that offer both comfort and convenience features pet owners should consider if they’re buying a car,” says Brian Moody, executive editor at Autotrader. Helping the Jeep Wrangler make the list are available Mopar pet-friendly accessories. For instance, the lightweight Mopar pet kennel features two pockets, three doors, a carrying handle and tie-down straps that secure to the cargo area to help prevent sliding, while Mopar all-weather floor mats and cargo mats protect the interior.
In addition to announcing its list of the “10 Best Cars for Dog Lovers,” Autotrader also revealed its creation of limited-edition goggles for dogs, designed to keep dogs safe–and stylish–while traveling in the car with the windows down.
Through Autotrader‘s special-edition website Dogtrader, dog owners can enter for a chance to win the goggles accessory from through September 12. As part of the program, Autotrader will donate funds to Adopt-a-Pet to help get homeless dogs out of shelters and into loving homes.
