Is the 2015 Jeep Renegade “Jeep” Enough For You?

Even though early reports have said the 2015 Jeep Renegade will be based on the Fiat 500L, these leaked Renegade photos suggest more of a kinship to the Fiat Panda 4×4 pictured below. Don’t get too upset about the Renegade’s possible Panda-based architecture. Jalopnik has called the Fiat Panda 4×4 the “best modern small car“; furthermore, James May drives one.

Information about the Renegade’s skeleton should be confirmed when it debuts this week at the Geneva Motor Show.

I love the way this thing looks, mainly because it reminds me of one of my favorite concept vehicles of all time: the Ford Bronco that was unveiled at the 2004 Detroit Auto Show.

Because it brings the 2004 Bronco concept’s tough demeanor to mind, on first impressions the new baby Jeep is “Jeep” enough for me.
