FS: MyGig RER - 20gig - 2008 Model
I'm looking to sell off the MyGig unit from my 2008 Wrangler.
Unit is perfect, works excellent! (even more so than you'd expect, more on that later..) I'm just looking to downgrade to the single disc factory radio as the JK has become the daily driver for the wife, and in-dash nav + entertainment aren't needed for her as she drives less than 5 miles a day!
The unit itself is from my 2008 JK, it has a 20 gig HDD, and seems to be entirely UNLOCKED. I do not have a lock-pick, but I am able to input addresses, watch videos, navigate the entire system WHILE the vehicle is in drive and in motion!!!
The MyGig came this way off the lot! I bought the JK in Iowa, so maybe the laws there don't require the dealers to kill it! Who knows, but have never complained or mentioned it!
I've enjoyed the heck out of it! I don't think I could have survived using it without the ability to input addresses and info while in motion!
I don't know if this is something rare, or not, but for people just looking to have a great video player and unlocked features while the vehicles is in park, can save you a few bucks from having to buy a Lock-pick!
I'm looking to get $800 obo. out of it.
Also I'm looking for SERIOUS buyers. I've had my fair share of "interested" people who waste my time, and while I enjoy random conversation, I'd prefer to work with somebody who is actually serious for once!
Edit: Does come with GPS Antenna, so those of you with factory Sirius just need to plug your existing Sirius plug in place and you're good to go. No other pieces necessary.
Also, I just paid (a week ago... $45.99 *sigh*) for another 3 months of "Sirius Everything" package, so you'll get a good 2.5 months worth of satellite radio subscription out of it as well!
(I already have a single disc radio ready to go in, so I'm not interested in trades. thanks!)
The unit is still installed in the JK, so pictures can be provided if requested. Since the weather is semi-decent today, I may pull it this afternoon! I'm located in Northern Illinois, and welcome to local pickup!
