The poachers responsible for killing the BP buck in Wilburton, OK were caught. In the attic of one of the men were 96 other racks with no documentation.

I hate poachers also.

I've never hunted in OK but in Alabama where I was raised you could shoot one horned deer a day/one in possesion. And one horned deer plus one doe per doe day. Our hunting season ran from the saturday before thanksgiving every to Jan. 31st. So you could legally kill more than 100 deer a year. And there is/was no such thing as "documentation". You could also get away with killing one in the morning and one that afternoon as long as you only had one in your truck. There was way no way for them to prove when you shot a deer.

Now I live out west where you have to buy/draw tags. WTF???

We have fuggers around here in WV that somehow manage to get a agricultural permit to take deer before the season. Guess what, they ALWAYS manage to take a very nice buck!! Then there are those others that you just know poach deer b/c they brag about it. I live in a small town and word gets around fast, nothing ever seems to get done about it tho!!

Glad the dbags in OK got caught...hope they get a hefty fine!!

Was this deer a potential record??? It is a monster buck! That is just brutal to see all the racks...hope they get hit hard with fines for this!
