kind of off topic but i have an 07 unlimited auto without a/c. i know the factory tranny cooler is in the lower portion of the a/c condenser.

would anyone know if i could utilize the unused portion of the condenser as a secondary tranny cooler?

hmm it will probably be enough for a stick though I guess, seeing as there's not slipage inside the trans.

Yes. Its cooling capacity is so far beyond what the manual needs, they don't event have any lines going to it.

Interesting...I wouldn't be surprised if mine was on the 161,000. Anyone got the link to that page where you enter the VIN and see if you have any recalls on your Jeep?

Yeah, great, give you an idiot light so it's your fault if your jk catches fire. The auto tranny runs hot anyway, it'll probably stay on majority of the time.

Mine runs in the 120-130 range, even on the hottest days.

My right leg and foot tells me it runs hot. Course I live down here in the heat anyway.

Soo Is there anyone on here that there jeep has actually been on fire. I lost my Jeep last January because of this. Never got any money from insurance they just broke me out of my lease because prices were alot lower when it happened then when I bought it. Any chance that I'll get my deposit or some kind of money back?
