LED dome light

Alright so I am finishing up installing the Ozium 16 led piece.

The only problem that no one mentioned is that the LEDs are on a white square, so that stands out through the plastic cover (whereas an LED bulb would not).

With the insulation I put between the LEDs and the metal I can't push the LED deep enough that it's far enough from the plastic cover to not come through.

Is that happening to everyone or is there an alternative?

Thats why I got the 6. PLEEENTY of light! Trust me, its stupid bright with 6 LED`s..

Unfortunately I already dished out the money and no one had recommended that yet. This is good for the next guys though, if you could post pics that'll be helpful too.

What I am trying to figure out is what the front dome light needs.
