Crap I was thinking this would be plug and play Anyways to do this without having to glue the whole thing down permanently (just in case I can my mind later, or if I sell my car and the guy wants a good old bulb).

I guess my questions is, are there other alternatives as insulators between the flattened bulb holders and the back of the circuit?

Thanks!

As low priced as it would be to replace them I would not even worry about it! Make it nice for yourself don't worry about the next guy down the line!

LOL damnit. In that case you can easily fit two of those, I don't know why someone said that only 16 works, you can fit two of those lengthwise no problem

The 16 is the only one that will fit due to the width.. if you get the bigger one it will not fit in the housing..now as for 2 16 boards fitting in one housing you might be cutting it close. But once you have one board in there you see how bright it is...there is really no need for 2 of them in one housing....

Right, but if I'm going to be soldering anyways I would just recommend going with 2 x 16 and solder them together....no?

Oh you can solder 2 boards together. But, I don't know if they will fit in the housing together side by side....

Yea they should fit, I was checking with mine that's why I was a little confused. If you can push them flush against the bulb holders and they are not pressing against the concave transparent plastic should work.

Pardon the lack of grey matter usage here...

So, you remove the housing from the vehicle. Bend down the tabs flag against the housing. Then solder the LED leads to the rear of the housing. Does it matter + or - placement?

Thanks!

I don't think that it matters which way you solder. The way you can check is by plugging in the led via the adapter each way, or even the stock bulb.
