driveshaft removal, won't free from flange
so I'm trying to pull my rear driveshaft out to replace with a Tatton shaft. Both ends were really stuck to the flanges. managed to get the Tcase side off, but can't seem to free the axle side after hours of pounding on it. Used PB blaster, mallets, blocks of wood with regular hammer, hammered the DS itself, hammered in the hole from behind the flange, etc. no luck. I guess it's corroded pretty badly. Any thoughts on how to get this thing off?

Try peeing on it
Maybe spray wd40 or another degreaser or something along that line to possibly loosen up. Maybe torch that end just enough to heat it up a little then try getting off. Kinda like when a lid is stuck on a jar you run warm water over it

alright, thanks I'll try that tonight. what are people using to hammer into that hole in the back of the flange? the shaft sits inside the flange quite a bit and it seems that's the only spot where you can hit it from the right angle to push it out and break the corrosion. I stuck an allen key in there and hammered it until it bent into a pretzel. couldn't fit much else in there since the diff is kinda in the way.

As stated above, tapping with a hammer will help, if you are removing the driveshaft don't be afraid to use the driveshaft to pry it out as well. You won't bend the flange. Mine was really stuck on as well but once it loosened it came right out.
