Default Lolo Pass, Oregon Snow Run

Just returned from a nice snow run up Lolo Pass today. The Mountains in the area are getting nice fresh snow, which is perfect for wheeling in.

Meet and greet, air down and gassing up.

Getting underway:

A little JK Forum pimping:

As we climb the pass, the snow is quickly getting deep and starting to build in our front ends.

Our first casualty of the day. Big surprise, its a Toyota! The Yota is running 37s, the snow is getting deep!

Jeep saves the Yota:

All of us at the top of Lolo Pass.

Jason powering through some untracked snow:

The kids getting a JK power assist to their sled:

Then we encounter the first of many dummies:

More dummies: This vehicle had no business being out in these conditions. Had we not come by, this family would still have been stuck in the ditch. Just beyond Jason's JK is a full size truck stuck in the ditch.

Jason doing a little crawling

All the pics from the run can be found here:

Those are awesome pics. Here are a couple pics from the 11th of this month to get Christmas tree's. Had to turn around because the small rigs could not make it any further.

Almost forgot my favorite part of the trip. BIG truck being pulled by my Jeep because it could not make it up the hill.

Yes, you should have. Lets get out again after the first of the year. Lets make a run up to Memaloose lake or Squaw Mountain just outside of Estacada.
