Default windshield wiper arm removal?

Can someone help me...I am trying to install my windshield lights, and I cant seem to figure out how to remove the wiper arms. I have removed the nut that holds them on, but it seems there is something else holding them down I am not seeing. Thanks in advance.

they should just pop right off. the only thing that holds them on is that one nut. i deff always had to have them folded up in order to pull them off.

You do not need to remove them to run the wire for the lights.
Just loosen up the cowl screws.

You just need to release the tension on the base of the wiper arm. I pushed down with my thumb on the base of the wiper mount while pulling carefully on the arm and they slid right off. You may not need to remove the cowl to run the lights. But I did so I could put the corrugated wire guard on the wires and I grounded the lights under the cowl as well. I have pics in my album!

Default Thanks!

I messed with those two G**D**N wiper arms for like half an hour before I finally came inside and searched on the forum. "Oh, got to bend them to 90 degrees and THEN wiggle them off. Ah."

Things popped right off.

Thanks JK-Forum!

Charles
